World Day activities in Grenada

In Grenada, a meeting on violence against children was organized at the Grenada Institute for Theological Education that included participation by religious leaders, over 150 ministers, business persons and the Prime Minister of Grenada the Hon. Tilman Thomas and the Minister of Education; the Ministry of Social Development prepared an official letter to the church umbrella body urging them to be involved in the Day of Prayer and Action for Children; media also disseminated information on the Day of Prayer and Action for Children.
